i have cable internet. the cable modem connects to my router, which then connects to a netgear hub i have in my room, which connects my xbox360 and pc to the internet. sometimes my internet will slow to a crawl, and when i try to access the router (192.168.1.1) through a web browser, it will load very slowly, sometimes not even at all.

it has nothing to do with linksys drivers, because im running dd-wrt, custom firmware, on the router, and it was working fine before windows 7.

one of the things that causes reandom drops and slow downs is IPv6. It can be dis abled in network and sharing IF homegroup is off.

Let us know if you need help with any of this

NO you need IPv4. Is IPv6 disabled (unchecked)?
