7. Hopefully the required file will be here.

When i do the troubleshoot connection thing it always fixes the problem and reports the default gateway was not available. Have just installed the intel card which is a half size mini pci-e. the former card was a dell 1395 wlan full size pci-e card. the intel card isnt screwed down on one corner like the dell was. had the same problems with the dell card but not as bad. it would only need resetting when the computer was brought out of a sleep state that it had been in for a long time (over night) as opposed to not transferring any data over the wlan for a minute or so, but it relayed a different error message. something like the ip configuration was wrong. very strange as its now working but will give up sometime soon, if not by the time ive finished writing this.

I have done a few things to try to correct it, found on this website and other google results. hopefully i can remember all of them. disabled ipv6 including going into the regedit to stop and cease the process. temporarily disabled avg and Windows 7 firewall. uninstalled device drivers and reinstalled latest drivers from intel website. tried different router. uninstalled vlan mini ports and tunnells. (it still working fine!!! isnt that the way it always goes!!!) played around with various adapter setting and router settings. does there need to be a connection from where the card screws down and the screw down point? changed the jumper wires around. done this 'netsh wlan stop hostednetwork' then
'netsh wlan set hostednetwork mode=disallow'. all the things would work well for 10 mins and then id get the same problem. Any ideas? my phone works fine with absolutely no problems and my next door neighbours sony vaio Windows 7 connects fine as well.
