I cannot change my ipaddress on windows 7 ultimate x64 local network
Hi long time follower first time poster. I got a bit of problem.
Some back history brand new pc image dumped on it from another system everything was working fine until i
tried to change the local ip address on the system and it added it to the list of ipaddress and then i noticed
that the ip from previous system was there i clicked remove selected the entered ipaddress clicked ok and then
tried to ping it and i couldn't looked at the settings and the old ipaddress was still there. ipconfig shows that my
ip is prefferred yet the other ip is still there and i cant ping it with my ip .......why? Also these machines have
barebones in terms of programs that are installed and there is no program on that machine that would do
this...... any idea??
