    Wireless network adapter not working

I've followed some on the steps provided on here, but I still can not connect to the internet via wireless option error message appears as "there might be a problem with the driver for the wireless network connection adapter" I've downloaded the latest version from the Dell support site and it still doesn't work. please help. I'm available to connect if I plug in the Ethernet cable directly to my laptop.

    Welcome jeccajo2013 :)

Is there a button on the laptop that turns the wireless ON/OFF ? My step-daughter forgets to check this all the time.

Did something change to cause this? Can you try doing a restore point or roll back the driver?

I have clue what changed...turn the laptop on the other day and was not able to connect via wireless nor with the Ethernet cable plugged in. I did the restore point and that didn't work...I was able to download the drivers from the Dell support site and can connect using an Ethernet cable, but can not connect via wireless....I'm not to familiar with the IT aspect of computers how do I roll back the driver? any help is greatly appreciated!!!!

    Hi jeccajo2013,

Please let us know the model number of the system and wireless card you have on the system. If you are aware of the same then you can update the driver using this video below:

    Updating Dell Drivers

Otherwise let me know the same and I would provide you with the correct link to download the driver.

Check the system under safe mode with networking and let us know if it works fine there:

    Safe Mode

Kindly update your system specs here by following this.

Keep us posted with the results so we can advise you further.
