Networking issues accessing shared folders on XP
I am having issues accessing shared folders on other machines, specifically XP, there is no password on the folder, but from Windows 7 on my PC it is saying that it requires a password to access it.
From any other version of windows it just lets me access it.
I made sure that Discovery is ON, password sharing is off, as well as the other settings being changed in the advanced network settings for the network.
I do NOT use HOMEGROUP(s).
What is it that can cause this? How can I remedy it?
