    wifi problem

    hey guyz please help me
i have a belkin router its an year old
the problem is that when i connect my Internet via the router the Internet starts to drop when i am watching any video on youtube or downloading anything this i observed today .. but when i am connecting via the Ethernet cable there is no such drop
moreover i observed by pinging the server there is request timed out with the router but there is not timed out n the server is pinging like 6-7 ms with the Ethernet
i have done everything like reset router ,reinstalled wifi drivers , changed password , but no help
please gimme any solution or do i need to change my router
n one final thing i jus shifted my router in my room so its just around 1 meter away from my laptop ,mobile, sub woofer etc so is there any interference causing this problem ?

    Sarahbh88,
Welcome to SF. Where do you live ? Belkin has outstanding customer support available 24/7. I would try changing the router broadcast channel to find one that gives best performance.

If you have your manual then it will show the address of your routers setup page. Once there you can go to Channel and SSID and try the various options but I would get the local Belkin support number and let them walk you through it once and then you can take it from there.
