    How to go back to XP style network connection


    Right I love win7

    all except the damn networking.

    How i do i get win7 to go back to the XP style of connection.

    IE I want to get rid of the Networking & Sharing system as i dont need it.

    I just want to be able to edit my network adaptor to what i want and then just have it connect with my router and job done.

    I don't want none of this home/Public network crap or 'Homegroup' stuff.

    I just want Adaptor-router-internet as in XP.

    Is this possible?

    what services can i disable or what windows features can i uninstall to achieve this?

    In Network and Sharing Center, left pane, click "Change adapter settings". This lists all your connection types.
