    Homegroup Issues

For months (perhaps even years) I have been using the same homegroup with no issues. As of late my main desktop computer cannot seem to access the other computers on the homegroup.

It can see the others and it shows the shared folders but I cannot seem to get past that point.

This is what I see. I believe it's supposed to look like this when it loads and once it gains access to the other computers it changes into the corresponding icons.

It remains like this for some reason.

I have ipv6 on, services on, etc.

I have no idea how to troubleshoot this.

Just checked again. Apparently this computer doesn't even show up on the HG list at all. It connects successfully but doesn't show up on the list.

    Any ideas?

    Hello ak120691,

I get this as well sometimes. Usually it's just a delay and will be fine in a few minutes, but closing and reopening Windows Explorer helps as well.

If that doesn't help you, then you might see if leaving and rejoining the homegroup may help.

    Homegroup - Leave

Homegroup - Add Computer or Join

    Hope this helps, :)

I have had the window open for hours and nothing happens. All of the other computers on the network get instant access.

I also left the homegroup and attempted to make a new one. No such luck.
