    NAS with Windows 7

Is it possible to have a NAS homeserver made with Win7? I found FreeNAS and others, but I didn't find anything with Win7.
FreeNAS é fine, but put an USB printer on it is terrible!

    Hello,

You may experiment with Nas4Free. Have you tried using the Homegroup and enable Media Streaming?

A stand alone or hardware NAS provides additional functionality in regards to data protection and redundancy using RAID if you are concerned about the speed rate.

    Hope this helps.

I have bad experience with Linux and printers: hard to find drivers, for example. Drivers hard to install. That's it
