unable to login to to router through address wirless or lan

    Hi everybody
i seem to have a major problem that i have never come across before,i have just purchased a cctv system for my business, after spending a lot of time trying to port forward it so i could see the cameras at home, my router has become a undefined public network, and i can not enter my router setting though 192.168.1.1 as i do usually, though the Lan cable,Ive tried resetting the router (its an orange live box) but its this undefined public network that i keep thinking is the problem, i have a dell laptop and a mac book pro they logged in to my home network when i got home so i know its not the laptop settings that are the problem,i was reading a piece on here about local security policy but im not too sure has anybody any ideas

    thank you in advance tomskiman

This sounds like an auto config IP address issue.

To better assist you can you please follow this tutorial - Basic Requirements Before Posting your Networking Thread. This can help us identify what may be causing your issue.

    Many thanks,
    Josh :)
