    Oh, thank you. I was wondering if it was a built-in Windows program or not, as I could not find it via searching in the Windows search bar.

    The fix doesn't seem to have worked though... Also, I cannot run it as Admin, even though I am Admin.

    Edit: Device manager works...and, ok. Nevermind. It's working. It hadn't the first few times I tried adding it.

    Thank you!

    Save the .REG file to C:\Windows\Temp

    Click the ORB | All Programs | Accessories | Then Right Click on "Command Prompt" and select "Run As Administrator".

    Once the Command Prompt opens type:

    C: <enter>
    CD\Windows\Temp <enter>
    IEVerRegFix.reg <enter>
    exit <enter>

    This should add the .REG file.

    @auto21529152

    This Thread is over a year old. Please start a new thread describing (giving great detail) your problem. UAC and ports are 2 different things. -WS

    hi, I'm also trying to open a port. I'm now where you told us to go (firewall --> allowed programs) and I clicked change settings.

    Now, I can change a list of programs, but I just want to open two ports (6112 and 6113 to be exact). I know this is probably obvious to all of you, but those 2 ports aren't in the list :)

    can someone tell me how I can open them?

    thanks in advance
