Get a "noname usb wlan dongle" to work with win7 ?

Hi!

I need to get my noname usb wlan dongle to work with Windows 7. This is a usb-adapter that I put in my computer and witch then forwards my internetconnection to my girlfriends laptop (wlan). I had Vista before and then it was working. The program that I have been running is called ZDWLAN. When I installed it on Vista I followed this guide teamxlink.co.uk :: View topic - THE OFFICIAL TEAM XLINK WIFI MAX WINDOWS VISTA GUIDE . Now it isnt working though. The program doesnt appear in the systemtray. I have tryed running it in compabilitymode vista (sp2).

I really hope you can give me some advice.
Thanks in advance!

I have a way for you to get the vendor. type device manager on search. with the usb dongle in go to the usb section. If there is an unknown device (with yellow triangle on it) right click the device. go to properties>details. Pull down the bar that says device details and pull it down till you see hardware ID's. take the number that has VEN_____ and numbers in it. copy and paste it into google a nd it will take you to the vendors site. find the driver and you are good to go

Good luck and let us know if you need help with this

vid_0ACE&PID_1211 is something I can get out of it. But the device description says only USB2.0 WLAN. This is what windows7 names it. I dont find anything that says VEN....
