Problems with access to Homegroup from different accounts
In my home network I have a desktop PC and a wifi connected laptop. The laptop has 2 accounts. Both machines are running Windows 7 Home Premium.
I created a homegroup on the desktop PC and tried to connect to it from the laptop, putting in the required access code to join the homegroup.
On account 1 on the laptop I can see and access all files and folders on the desktop. On account 2 I can see the shares in the homegroup but cannot access the folders or files - standard Windows message " You don't have permission etc".
I have tried various combinations of joining the homegroup from the laptop:
1. Join from both account 1 and account 2
2. Join from account 1 only
3. Join from account 2 only.
All methods produce the same result as stated above.
Can any genius point me in the right direction.
