Automatically restore sharing permissions on a Truecrypt drive?

I have a partition a an external drive that is encrypted with Truecrypt. This drive is attached to my Windows 7 machine. I have the drive mapped to my Linux machine. The issue that I am having is that whenever I remount the Truecrypt drive, the sharing permissions are reset and I must reset them manually. Is there a way to force windows to remember the sharing permissions for a drive that is not permanently mounted? Thank you in advance.

This is most likely due to, when the drive is unmounted, the share is effectively deleted, and with it all permissions. It's unavoidable that this happens, it's how Windows is designed when you delete a share.

You may workaround it with a batch file for example. Make it mount the drive, create the share and set its permissions. Then run it instead of Truecrypt for mounting the drive.
