    Removing Network Location Icon/Security concern?

hi, When I go to Computer/Network (Windows Explorer window), I see 3 network location icons, one of which is my PC, but the other two are unidentified. Currently my PC is the only active client connected to my router (wired home LAN). Are these inactive network locations intruders? or are they clients that I once connected but are now powered off (I have a laptop and NAS too, but not always powered)? should I be concerned? How can I remove them from showing up? Thanks

I know this is old but if you are still wondering: network locations has a tendency to keep old locations listed long after the devices have been removed. Right click on the icons might shed some light (have patience if the computer freezes for a while, it will be busy trying to access something that probably doesn't exist!). Right click should also offer an option to delete the location. If that doesn't work try disabling the network adapter first or booting into safe mode without networking.
BUT: are you sure you have never tried to share something with your laptop or NAS?
