I tried to fast add Desktop to share. It works fine but I can't copy files from my desktop to laptop. It shows me only I must have permissions.. I had set write/read permissions

Make sure you allow sharing and read/write abilities on all PC/Laptops involved.

Yes but your laptop needs to be able to accept those folders/files. As far as your Laptop knows right now, some foreign object/PC is trying to write information to it and it won't accept that. You need to add it to the Homegroup and make sure your Laptop allows you to read/write to it.

hm still doesn't work for me. Have all computers in homegroup, from desktop I see my laptop in homegroup, but still can't copy files there..

edit: tried copy files from laptop to desktop (folder Documents), it works fine. So I can't copy files only from desktop to laptop (folder Desktop)

Have you made sure you went to your Laptop and shared your Desktop?

Perform the suggestion in this post to the Desktop for the Laptop. Make sure you allow the Homegroup to be able to Read and write to the Laptops desktop

I'm pretty sure that if the write permissions were added to the Library in question this would be working.

You just need to highlight which ever Library folder you need to share, right click and choose "Share With" then choose "Specific People" Once you get to the screen below just right click on "Homegroup" click to add read/write permissions then hit the "Share" button at the bottom, give it some time to propagate the new permissions and you will have read/write access only for that particular Library folder.

You need to do this for each and every Library that you need full access to.

This is about as easy as it's going to get. :)

Yes you can use teamviewer to connect to your other PC's.

Are you not able to write to any folder on your laptop, or just the Desktop?
