Thank you much! You have a good weekend as well. And thank you CyberMan! My computer has been down for the day because I was helping a friend with a computer problem as we used my graphics card to test if the inboard was bad. Will keep thread open - if no problems occur for 5 days I will mark solved

That's good to hear, hope it does not go down for you. A VPN can be a problem for ordinary internet access unless you have a VPN router or simlar which has split tunnels., one for the VPN and one for your internet access.

Hope it holds up for 5 days or more. Come back here if you have problems.

PS Thank you for liking my signature Britton30 did it for me.

Tried to hop on last night to mark as solved - and my internet went out again. I just disable, re-enabled and it worked fine - until today. In the middle of a game, it just turned itself off again..

Network card name reporting incorrectly in wireless network list area
My rig uses a Centrino Advanced-N 6230 wireless mini half-card. It reports the correct name except within the wireless network list. Instead of 6230 it reports 6320. I searched the registry to see if I could find the error, but nothing found. It's only a nuisance, and a minor one at that. ...
