    Ethernet Problems

Hi, I installed Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit onto my previously Windows 8 desktop and ever since it refuses to acknowledge that I have an ethernet cable plugged into it to help with the internet. I can connect using wireless but when it comes to installing games from Steam I get really slow speeds, around 450 KB/s whereas I'm use to getting at least 2 MB/s with my ethernet connection. Does anyone know how I can get my computer to acknowledge and use my ethernet to connect to the internet?

    Hi from Sevenforums,

Have you installed all the drivers.

Anything with an exlamation mark in device manager especially under Network adapters?
