How to set up hp wireless printer help please!!!

I could really use some help me figure out setting up a hp Photosmart C309a wireless printer! I have been through the ringer and back with this thing and I'm lost and know that I can count on this forum to give me ther RIGHT instructions. So this printer is wireless and also has bluetooth. I have a private network set up at my house. It consist of....(and keeping in mind that all these devices are in perfect sharing and working order on my network) my desk top PC running vista home premium 32bit on a wired connection to my netgear wireless modem/router (provided by frontier) then I have my laptop which is running windows 7 home premium 64bit that can connect with no issues, two phones, and a tablet once and a while. When I bring up my netgear modem webpage I can see the printer as well as my two pcs. the drivers i got from hp's site prompted me to temp hook up usb cable to back of printer and then to my wired pc, that pc can print fine to printer, my laptop can see printer, can print to it, but it fails. I shared the printer from my home pc (wired) but i can't print to it wirelessly. My galaxy s4 see's the printer as well and once you try to print to it from phone it won't let you. It would be nice to be able to print from phone as well but in the end I just want to be able to print wirelessly from my laptop in the other room without running wires or relocating the printer. Any help would be greatly appriciated!

    Thank you, Jason

Generally speaking just installing the printer drivers onto each networked machine will be required.

Simply sharing the printer isn't enough, you need to install the drivers, preferably using drivers that are compatible with the particular Op system.
