Trying to set up wireless on new machine

    Hi there,
I just bought a new computer with windows 7. It is replacing an older computer using windows xp.
After setting up the new computer I cannot get the wireless to connect to internet. I've connected the usb wireless and the system recognises it, but the driver doesn't load. The router is on my main computer running on vista.
Does anyone have any suggestions to get my internet going?

    Thanks!!

Have you set your wireless adapters WEP key?

This is a key supplied by your router by default for wireless encryption... log on to your router through the xP machine and look under your wireless settings for any info on your WEP key or just make a new one and remember it and set it in the network properties of the wireless adapter on the 7 machine

Install the driver for the device from here.

    http://sabrent.com/#itemName=&itemID=0&section=Drivers

Choose network, then 2nd option down, go to drivers

Download the Windows file. The driver is only an XP one but the specs say compatible with Vista. That should mean it will work well.

    Good luck.
