Getting Windows 7 on the internet

I've just installed windows 7 on my desktop PC and it won't connect to the internet for some reason. I can't get on the belkin website for some reason it just won't show the page but since my wireless still works without the belkin software in XP do I need to name my windows 7 PC name to the exact same as what windows XP is named as to get access to my router?

Just that since the belkin and gigabyte website aren't working for me, connecting my computer to the internet seems the only way of getting the driver. Kinda like chicken and egg paradox.

    Cheers.

Belkin don't have 64 bit drivers as far as I know, I ended up swapping my belkin wireless to my spare one.

Do I need to install all the motherboard drivers again? IE the LAN driver and i take it my wireless hardware will still have the same MAC address and won't need to change any settings in the router?

AFAIK, MAC address stays the same no matter what.
