New windows 7 install , no wifi detected on laptop.

    after I clicked yes it says : installation complete..I still switched the power management .

    no it says that the Windows did not detect a properly installed network adapter.If you have a network adapter , you will need to re-install the driver.
    I don t get it I mean I did the following steps : Control Panel-Hardware and Sound-Power Option.
    There at " Choose when to turn off the display I selected Never for both On Battery and Plugged in.
    I m not using any batter so I m always plugged in .
    Than I tryed to reinstall the driver and it showed me the same thing.
    So I tried Power Options \ Advance settings and manually selected Sleep ( switched to never ).

    Please Post a screenshot of the Device Manager with the Network Adapters expanded ..

    Have you Unticked both boxes under Network Controller / Property's / Power Management ?

    ok I m trying to take a screen shot but honestly I have no idea how to do it since the screen shot button doesn t work .
    When I type Network Controller in the start menu it gives me 4 options : View devices and printers , Device Manager , How to add new hardware and Update device drivers.
    I can t find Network Controller / Property s

    Does the Network Controller not show up in the Device Manager ?

    No when I check on the view ( show hidden devices ) it brings out Network adapters and Non-Plug and Play Drivers..thats it

    Boot in to BIOS Advanced Settings check to see if the Lan is enabled ...
