    Software continues to crash

    hello all,

    I manage an office and we currently have 5 workstation computers and one server computer, all which are from Dell. these computers work perfect except for our only Optiplex 3010. This particular terminal keeps on crashing when running the software that we use. It is also the only computer that asks for username and password to connect to server every time it restarts, even if I check the box to remember credentials.

    The server is running on windows 7pro and so is the computer in question. the other four computers in the network are running on windows 7 pro (2) and windows XP (2), Therefore, I think is safe to rule out incompatibility issues between operating systems and software. I have also uninstalled and reinstalled software.

    Any suggestions on how to solve issue.

    Thank you.

    alex

    Alex you can try going to internet options under tools > Advanced tab > Reset internet settings.

    @judas80
    This is a duplicate of your other thread
    I installed software that repeatedly crashes

    Please stick to one thread per issue or it can get confusing as different people will try to help not knowing what someone else is suggesting and you have already tried ...

    thank you, I will try to do that next time I am at the office, and I will let you know the result. Also, David, sorry for the duplicate posts. I wasn't sure which forum was the most appropriate one, and since i am kind of frustrated with the problem I just posted twice...it won't happen again.
