Aspire E1-570 running on Win7, but WiFi driver does not work

    Hi Guys,

I recently purchased a E1-570 and installed Win7, however no matter what drivers I have installed for the driver, the laptop is still not detecting it.

I have done everything on this this thread WiFi Driver for Acer E1-570 and still nothing is resolved.

So I am taking Maxie's suggestion and posting my query here (unsure if this was posted before)

P.S. I'm a novice when it comes to these things. Please be lenient on me if I do come across stupid and igorant.

    Many thanks in advance!

    Hi Maxie,

Thank you for the welcome and the reply!

Surprisingly there are no errors in the device manager. I have attached a screen cap of what I can see in my device manager.

    I have tried installing:
    - Wireless LAN_Atheros_10.0.0.263
    - Wireless LAN_Atheros_10.0.0.276
    - Wireless LAN_Atheros_10.0.0.234
    - Wireless LAN_Broadcom_6.31.139.2

The WiFi driver was working previously when it was running on Win8.

Unsure where I went wrong in the installation.

    Cheers

    Maxie,

I didn't get a chance to download the driver you had suggested, but for some odd reason my issue was just resolved by a windows update?! It had detected the driver and is now working *weird*

I do believe it was still you who resolved my issue though!

Cannot express enough thank you's for your help! xxx
