    wireless issues

its kinda strange, l know the adapter doesnt have any issues as lve been using it for the last couple of years with no issue.

however for some reason the speed is fluctuating and occasionally cutting out.. lve not had this problem until today after my new build. last system was fine, laptop is showing no speed fluctuations its running at a steady 130mbps but my usb W326U wireless adapter seems to be shooting between 50/144mbps tho occasionally drops lower.. l cant think of any other settings l could change since it worked up till finally got around to building this system.

    Hi timeless,

Do you have the latest driver for your wireless ethernet adapter?

Have you tried a wired connection? How's the speed?

Also, please post your Speedtest, compare the wired and wireless speed.

l tend to prefer wireless ever since a thunderstorm many years ago caught me by surprise.. was very lucky to still have a computer as it blew out my extension stopping just short of taking out my computer as well.

speed doesnt seem to be so much an issue since l updated my usb drivers and opted for drivers from the makers site rather than ones shared on windows update (tho before they had never been an issue), l just find it strange that l didnt have as many issues before with the wireless adapter before my system upgrade than l did before.
