Show all folders I am sharing - Where is it in 7

I liked Vista's option at the bottom of the network and sharing center:

"Show me all the files and folders I am sharing"

Where can I access this in Windows 7. I cannot find it and it must be here.

it's always been here since Windows 2000

    Start > right-click on Computer > Manage > Shared Folders > Shares

That's a big help. Thank you.

It would be nice to have this in the network and sharing center. I wonder why they took it out.

You're welcome and thanks for the rep :)

The problem with the Vista method "Show me all the files and folders I am sharing" is that it doesn't show you hidden shares (those with the $ sign).

The Vista method appears to be the same as just typing \\%COMPUTERNAME% in the explorer address bar (which is the same thing as clicking on your computer in Network).

I noticed that. You can also stop sharing from there too. I have never seen that in all of these years.

Is that window that comes up when you right click "computer" and hit "manage" called the "console"? People are always telling me to go to the "console" Is that all-in-one window referred to as the "console"?

it's MMC, or Microsoft Management Console.

But I suspect most people are actually referring to the command-line when they use the term "console" all by itself.

One other trick for a quick check of visible shares ....

    Start menu - Search ...

enter \\computername\ where computername is the name of your machine or any other visible on the network and the shares will be listed in the left pane of the start menu
