Network issue when logging on

Every once in a while when i turn my pc on, there is no internet connection. I see a yellow yield sign over my connection icon. I click it and select "open network and sharing center", then I click on local area connection and it repairs the problem. Is there any way to prevent from having to do this?

Wired or wireless?
How is your network setup?

Wired. With a router connected as well. D-link.
