Greetings,
So I've just finished an install of windows 7 7600 32bit over the weekend and allowed it to update. Now however for some reason my lan is connected i can go online and can even see and access the other computers on the network but under Network and sharing center it displays "No connections are available". Almost as if windows 7 isn't receiving confirmation the connection is active. Now for the most part this isn't a problem, except that it's supposed to be running as a file server
The only thing that might be variable with this install compared to the dozen or so others on this pc(all clean installations) is that i selected a couple more windows updates.
I've tried rolling back with system restore. no joy. tried the winsock and dnscache fixes that other people have tried on similar problems, changed
drivers. reset the router. Nothing seems to work. When it's detecting a network it show's up the identifying thing, but after that it goes back to no network connections available. As i say I can still access the net and network outward.
If anyone can think of anything for this wierd problem. I'd greatly appreciate any help.
Thanks in Advance,
