    Wi Fi connection suddenly goes OFF .. no connections recognized


    I have HP DV6 6165-tx laptop. with windows 8 running.. in it.. all smoothly..
    But.. laptop suffers a lot due to wi fi issues.. no connections recognized inspite many connections available.. ON state..
    I formated whole system.. problem solved but again . same problem has occured .
    Please help what to do.. ?

    Well; have you checked the device manager in the system tab of the control panel to see if there are any yellow exclamtion points or question marks by any of the network adapters/controllers? If so; remove those, click the refresh button at the top of the panel and let windows re-detect them and reinstall them and see if that helps. Also; sometimes the modem and or router needs a simple reset by power cycling the devices. Unplug both the modem and router; wait about a minute or so; then plug the modem back in and let that boot fully; then plug the router back in and let that boot fully. Try one or both of these things and see if it helps any. If not post back and we can take it from there.

    Hey . thnx for the reply..

    I did exactly the same...
    Wi fi connection in my laptop is not being recognized .. o say detected..
    i got it formated.. with Win 7 , here wi fi (device insyd laptop ) was not working at all n then Win 8.. wifi coonections started to be shown by my laptop..

    Just yesterday .. was working .. with wifi ON.. on my laptop.. it worked nycly 2 hrz.. n then no connections detected by the laptop..
    wat to do here in this.. i dnt think the wifi device being shot up as.. its getting detected n m working with it .. but suddenly goes OFF.. . wifi router n modem doesnt have any problem..
