Cross Forest Roaming Profiles
When trying to Log On to a Windows 7 Machine with my Network Name and Password the PC starts up normally and then displays a Balloon message saying “You have been logged on with a Local Profile because Cross Forest Roaming Profiles are disabled. Changes made to this profile will not be synced to your roaming profile. See the event log for details or contact your administrator.” I’ve checked the server and Cross Forest Roaming is enabled.
The server is running Windows 2003, with a Domain name of DOMAIN.
Just set up 8 Brand New PC's, due to the profiles issue I've had to install XP on them but I would like to update to Windows 7 this will obviously mean a fresh install of Windows but that's acceptable.
