Ah,i completely failed to take into account the important fact that you browser times out before a site opens,Well i did say im not a geek too.sorry about that.do you have access to another person with a pc who can download something for you. because once i got the toshiba TEMPRO thing installed it gave me a notice every now and then of what i needed & it also took me to the right place to get it.i will see if i can find the exact URL for your network adapter Realtek RTL8187B Wireless 802.11b g 54Mbps USB 2.0 Network Adapter. & maybe someone could download it for you.

I'm actually sitting right next to my PC...I swing to my right and there's my laptop...lol I'm just worried that that Adapter may have been corrupted? If that makes sense...Have you ever gone into one of your links and clicked properties...and then clicked security...if you look in that box that tells you who has the permissions or whatever...do you see something that says "Account Unknown....." with a bunch of numbers after it? I've got 2 of the same thing like that in everything just about...makes me nervous and wonder why I suddenly can't connect when I had no problem before....

there is a good possibility the driver is corrupted you could also have some malware using up all your PC resources.but you have MAXIE to help & i don't want to give you conflicting advice. He or She will help you.i would just say try not to uninstall something you need to get you on the internet if you are not sure you have the driver for it actually on your PC because if you can't get online windows can't download it to re-install it. are they your real ip addresses ?. if so ask MAXIE if it is a good idea to post them here
