No, I couldn't run anything at all since I couldn't installed ginkgosoft DLNA player. Since I didn't find that DLNA Player powered by 'ginkgosoft' was not listed at all when looking for it in google store, I really had to open the that link of the DLNA Player powered by 'ginkgosoft' sent by you from my Android. When, I opened that link while working on my Android, then I have redirected into the Google Store, then I found this program was not compatible with your model. As a result, I couldn't install it since there was no option for installing it.

However, I MX player was listed there, and I could install it if I wanted to, but it will not be do anything alone since its functionality is only palys the unsupported video file formats.

Samsung Galaxy Mini GT-S5570I.

What about installing the first one AnDLNA player which was working with me, however, it couldn't support some file formats, and then I will install MX player. However, how could MX player will access file formats?

NB: Do you think that while watching the videos on my laptop from my Samsung phone, this will account from my internet credit as much as I watch videos on Youtube.com?

I'm afraid I'm out of ideas to help you. Perhaps you can find a forum that deals specifically with your phone and people there can help you to find a DLNA client that will work on your phone.

Thanks a lot,
Never mind, I only wish that I could succeed to play the unsupported video file formats.
By the way, as said before, the AnDLNA could play the MP3,4 video file formats. However, the others, it could not play them. There is no option or choice to prompt me to choose another player to play the unsupported video files

Thus, do you think that if I remains the AnDLNA installed and then installed the MX player or even the QQ player which can support all other formats. However, how could QQ player or MX player access those files as long as I only see those files while on AnDLNA?

In addition, I really have chatted a Samsung agent available in the link you provided, however, they said that my mobile is international, and not a US product. Thus, they didn't help me. However, I really quite surprised how they knew that my mobile is international, although my mobile model doesn't contain anything indicating internationalism.
My mobile is Samsung Galaxy Mini GT-S5570I

For my curiosity, if anyone living in the US, and he was leaving the US to another country, thus what will they do with their US mobiles as long as they will be working in their own countries.

I installed AnDLNA on my phone and when I select a movie to watch from my server I am prompted as to which player to use and can then select MX Player or whichever other I choose. You need to figure out which player you currently have set to play AVI & FLV files and clear that as the player for those file types.

If you have a player that won't work with a video format then you need to go into Settings->Apps on your Android device, find that player app, touch it to open it's properties, then click on "Clear Defaults" to clear any file formats that player has been set as the Default app for.

Thanks a lot,

What did you do even you prompted? It might you have used another version of AnDLNA.
I really was not prompted. When I view, and click on a file format not supported, I don't see any response. If file format not supported was converted from the FLV format into mp4 by another program called 'QQ player' I saw clicking on that file inside 'AnDLNA' showed me this file cannot be running, although it was running well on my Laptop.

You mean that I can configure the AnDLNA client to let not play AVI & FLV by default, and then set the MX player to play those file formats by default. I would be saying that there is no settings inside the AnDLNA to be configured at all. Yes, QQ player or MX player, I think can be configured.

I really even before installing the AnDLNA client, or any other Media player software, such as MX player or QQ player, I noticed that most MP4, 3 are working well on the Android mobile, although I don't know what player play them. I think there is a built-in media player utility or program pre-installed on the Android, or otherwise I will end up with not working all video formats.

Yes, thanks a lot,
Now when I installed AnDLNA along with MX player, then when I opened an unsupported file, I was prompted as to which player to use. Then, I chose play it with MX player.

However, I am now having other problems which are:
First: FLV formats are not supported by my WMP, thus WMP couldn't play the FLV formats, thus all the file formats weren't listed in the WMP, although the folder containing them was included well. As a result, they were not shown(listed) inside the AnDLAN client.

How to solved the above problem, I think the WLM server is only the one used on my laptop, then I think the the only solution is to convert those files into AVI or MP3 or others which can be played with WLM.

Second:
Do you think that the Video files saved on an external hard disk, and included into a library in WLM, they will not be listed in AnDLNA client, although they were listed in the WMP server.

Third: I don't see the latest video files included into my WLM on my laptop were listed(shown) on my AnDLNA client even after refreshing AnDLNA client and clicked on 'Apply media information changes' on WMP, although the older ones are still shown, thus I thought of there is a capacity limit for the files will be listed on the AnDLNA client. I.e. if I have included video files with a size of about 10GB, or even more, then some of those files included later will not be listed as long as I have exceeded the capacity limit.

Finally: The AnDLAN client insists on keeping(saving) the video files viewed before even if they no longer exists in the WMP server(they removed from the included video library). Yes, when I clicked on one of them, then I was faced with 'this link cannot be working' I have tried refreshing the client, but it didn't make difference. I have uninstalled it, then installed it again, but it still keeps the previous files reviewed and played, althoug they are no longer exist in the WMP's included library. This is most strange thing.

Strolling, could you help me with this new problem, from the AnDLNA client, I was able to viewing the files shared on the WMP server on my HP laptop(windows 7), however, when I have removed all files included in the WMP server, and then reincluded them again, I no longer see any shared files on WMP server are shown (listed) on the AnDLNA client.(I tried uninstalled the AnDLNA client, and then installed it again), but the same thing is still happening.
I am quite sure that the I did the same steps I did before.::

First:I’ve already organized my files into My Videos folders, and shared a folder included in the Video library.

Second: I lunched the WMP, I selected the option Automatically allow devices to play my media.
Third:
I clicked the Stream drop-down menu again, and select More streaming options. Next: I enabled the Media programs.

If the problem were with the AnDLNA client, then I wouldn't see the files were listed when I have Plugged the same external hard disk containing the video files to another Dell laptop using the same Windows 7.
On Dell laptop, I can view and run all files via AnDLNA client on the Android.

Could you let me know what solution will be there?
