    no IPv4 or IPv6 conectivity

In June my Lenovo V570, laptop, Win 7, apparently was infected by a virus that caused the BSOD. With help from Avast & Malwarbyetes support desks I was able to get it removed & everything worked fine again Except I could no longer get on line. Troubleshooter indicated I have no Ipv4 or Ipv6 conectivity. Since I cannot get the win 7 Lenovo on line the remote service I used cannot remote help. I use this Win 8 LT for internet. Two Other computers on Win 8 are on line in this network.
One “Expert” told me i'm just missing some basic files. I have all kinds of backup - A Levono recovery disk, A Lenovo rescue disks & initial backup disks. An Acroutis image bootable rescue disk,
A recovery disk & I have backed up all my files on a Maxtor HD drive. I believe there is an image folder on that but I don't know what to do with any of these recovery items. I'd prefer not to have to go to a complete restore if possible.
