How to turn on wifi in Lenovo G510

    Hi,

I installed Win 7 32 bit on my Lenovo G510 laptop and then installed all the drivers. Now I want to use my wireless Internet but can't find the way I can turn on the wireless on that laptop!!
I tried Fn+F5 and also F5 but it's still turned off. It says, "Wireless capability is turned off".

"Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power" in Power Management is unchecked.

How to turn on wireless in that laptop please?

Hi there ... Did your Laptop originally have Windows 8 ? ... Does your Function Keys work ? Which Model do you have G 510 or G519 ? ...

    Hi mate,

Yes, I think it has had Win 8 originally (it's not mine). But the OS does not have anything to do with the devices (here the wireless card) not?
Yes the function keys all work BUT, there isn't any antenna sign on any of them which makes me much amazed!

Sorry for my mistake in first post. It's G510.

Thanks for that file. I did read them. Apparently the wireless compatibility will be available only when the OS is 8. It's very odd to me.

Doesn't work. I think it works on Win 8.
Anyway thanks so much. I deeply appreciate your responses and trying to help me.
