Windows 7: "Access Denied" on shared folder from XP to 7

"Access Denied" on shared folder from XP to 7

This is driving me insane!

I have 7 Ultimate on laptop, and have had three folders on the laptop that are shared successfully with my XP desktop machine - I can view, transfer, everything no problem.

Tonight I make a new folder on the laptop, and although it is visible from the XP desktop, I get "access denied" when I try to access the folder. I have changed ownership, permissions, and duplicated EVERY setting from those folders that are shared successfully and still no luck! Even made another new folder to see if it gave a different result - nada...

Any ideas?
