    Hello diegodiniz,

    short answer.
You have to make sure both Windows 7 and Windows XP use the same workgroup name.
Install your printer in Windows 7, make sure it works.
Then in Windows 7, share your printer.
Install additional XP drivers on your printer in Windows 7 (printer properties->sharing tab) , sometimes you need to edit the .inf file of your extracted XP drivers, to make sure the shared printer name equals the printer name in the .inf file. Those drivers are downloaded automatically to your XP machine if you connect to the Windows 7 Printer.

If you need more information, feel welcome in the forum to ask your questions.

    Have a nice day!

When I put the CD whit them, the Win7 do not find the drivers! And when i try to install them, an error screen show up! Sorry for my bad english!

    diegodiniz,

    I understand what you mean.

To install the additional XP drivers, Windows 7 expects a .inf file.
The way I succeeded to get this file, is:
Copy the installation files from your CD to a local directory on your Windows 7 computer harddisk.
Run the printer setup/install file from that directory. Don't continue install, but choose cancel to exit setup, or exit setup manually.
Now hopefully the setup extracted the installation files from the printer in that local directory. And with some luck the .inf file is also there.
The key to your success is: Get the .inf file from your printer + XP drivers.

*** Somethimes when you have the .inf file, you need to edit and change the printername in that file to be exactly the same as the name of the shared printer.

Another method also working for me:
On the Windows XP machine, connect to your Windows 7 shared Printer,
and at the point where the connection tells you to download the printer drivers to install the shared printer on Windows XP, cancel and choose for local installation of the printer driver(s).
Now you can use your printer CD to install the XP drivers on your XP computer, and everything should work fine.

I hope this made it work for you, if you have any questions left, feel free to post them here!

    Best regards,
