    Wireless Adapter Issues

Hello Seven Forums. Been a while since I had to come here for help.

I am recently having strange crap happening to me with my wireless adapter. In just the last few days, this has started happening.

I am downloading stuff from websites (sites I trust), and then my wireless goes into limited mode (which is normal for stupid wireless), but when I try to go disable it in the Adapter screen, the wireless USB adapter refuses to disable, and I am forced to force restart my PC with the reset button because Windows refuses to finish "Shutting Down" in the process of shutting down (even if letting it sit there for a few minutes). What the hell is going on with my stupid PC? It refuses to disable my wireless USB, and forced to "force close" the little box that says it is disabling the device. I am getting sick of this garbage!

Richard what type of wifi adaptor are you using a dongle plug in or a USB powered stand alone?

PS and how old is it?

Sorry I havent responded. It stopped doing this a day or two ago for some reason. It's the only time it's done this to me so many times in one day.

And I dont have any AV installed.

You need to Install an Antivirus Program of your choice ... Having no protection is just plain madness .. To start with i suggest you run a full scan with Malwarebytes ...
