UNABLE TO CONNECT TO INTERNET DUE TO TWO NETWORK CONNECTION(same IP)

I have a Win 7 Ultimate PC 64 bit and a AMD based processor with Realtek LAN controller. The issue is that though i have only a single LAN connection through a WiMax connection and the router gives only one IP address to the PC, the Networks and Sharing Center shows two different networks with same IP address and does not connect to the Internet. I have tried uninstalling and installing the Realtek Ehernet driver but the issue remains the same. I had reinstalled Windows and it worked for a while but the same issue started again. Now m clueless as to what exactly is the issue. Thanks in advance the help...

Stop the power on the modem and router for 30 seconds and try again.

Thanks for your fast reply. I have tried all the power off/on of the router. BTW the connection is a wired one and I dont have a separate modem and router. The modem out connects directly to the PC and m still clueless
