    internet working in the living room but not in the bed room


    ok so my dads laptop is a acer aspire 5749 and the inter net works in the living room works in my room (my room is above the living room ) but will not work in my dads bedroom the connection bar is usually at 3 -4 in there but it says limited access and just loads forever .(with the connection bar having a yellow warning sign over it. also when he got the laptop it worked fine in his room i have try ed putting win 7 back on it but it did not fix the issue .any ideas thanks(thought i would just say that the router is fully updated and the bed room is less than 10 feet from the living room )

    Hi .... Wireless signal seems to be the problem ... Not a lot you can do about it except get a WiFi Ranger Extender they are not very expensive and should resolve the issue ...

    is there any recommended WiFi Ranger Extender for my router.it is a netgear dng1000

    I used to use the one in the Link below it worked well ... They do have cheaper ones also ..

    reset the adapter on your Dad's computer first. The problem is not with range of signal if you connect with 3-4 bars.

    Did you try "troubleshoot problems"? Right click on the "bars" in the notification area and select it, then run it. It should reset the adapter.
