When your router/modem failes to obtain IP from your ISP's DHCP it will give that weird IP (Automatic Private IP Addressing), at the stage you can only double and tripple check your router wireless setup is correct. Otherwise, ring up your ISP and ask if there are any known DHCP issue as you are unable to obtain IP thru autodetect. If there is nothing wrong with them (usually they say so), i would think about resetting the router and re-configure your wireless network.
I'm not sure how you setup your router's settings, but usually don't go overboard with secuirty, just WPA2-Personal is enough imo.
Give it a go. Reset your router and re-configure your wireless network.
