Connected to network, no internet access

    Connected to network, no internet access


    After a system update, when I turn on my computer it connects to the network but shows no internet access. The other computer on the same network has internet access.
    I flush the winsock and i config, restart and I connect and have internet.
    Every time I turn off my computer and turn it back on, I have to do the same thing. It is getting old.
    What can I do to fix this permanently.

    Sounds to me like your winsock.dll file may have gotten partially or totally corrupted. See if the following link will help ya out any:

    Problem was router


    I fixed this by putting a static address in.
