    REALLY Weird network login problem

I have a Windows 7 64 Enterprise system that I had changed the login password for then the system crashed later. Upon restore, the computer recognizes the old login but won't login if the network cable is plugged in.

    Example:
with network cable plugged in, NEWPASSWORD works but I get an error "The trust relationship between the work station and the primary domain failed". Any other password including OLDPASSWORD do not work and the only way into the system is to use OLDPASSWORD with the network unplugged and then plug the network cable in once the machine starts booting. Odd thing is with the network unplugged, NEWPASSWORD will not work.

So how can I, A: change my password back and not have to deal with this anymore or B: do what's necessary on the 'primary domain' with our Windows Server 2012 ?

Thanks very much for any assistance

I'm not that clued up on Domain's but it sounds like you reset the password on an individual PC that is part of a Domain on Windows Server 2012, rather than resetting the Domain Password for that account on the Domain itself. I would try backing up all important data then try leaving the domain and rejoin it again, or just reset the password for that specific user account on the Domain using a network administrator account.
