issues with wireless adapters after upgrading motherboard, cpu and ram

As the title says, I recently upgraded my motherboard, cpu, and ram(went from Asrock extreme6 z77/i7 3770k/Kingston 8gb hyperx to EVGA z97 ftw/i5 4670k/G Skill 16gb ripjaw x). I am still using the same installation of Windows 7 64 via the same SSD. After I got done installing the new hardware, I used the disk that came with the motherboard and installed all the drivers that were available (twice, just to be safe). All the OS functionality that I previously had seems to be there with the exception of being able to get device manager to successfully install the drivers for my wireless adapters (Linksys AE1000 and TP Link N900). I have downloaded the current driver for the Linksys from the website and I have the disk for the TP Link and I have repeatedly attempted to install, but keep getting the same "Windows found driver software for your device but encountered an error while attempting to install it" message. Device manager recognizes the device and there isn't any status issue symbol (i.e yellow triangle, etc...) that is being displayed in conjunction with either adapter. I have tried disabling/re-enabling and uninstalling/re-installing both and keep having the same issue. I have tried to search in multiple forums for people with similar issues, but none of the resolutions seem to work or are appropriate for my circumstances. Any help that can be provided would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
