Network Issues At Log On

I uninstalled Acronis True Image 2015 and Eset Nod32. I installed Bit Defender and Malwarebytes premium. In the past my windows boot up would be superfast (SSD). Now everything boots up but then boot up lags waiting for the network. I uninstalled the two new programs to see if one of them was the issue but the boot up now still lags waiting for the network. I did the exact same with another wireless computer and it has the same issue only the lag isn't as bad as my desktop hardwired computer. I have no clue. I am guessing one of the uninstalls did something. Any ideas? I can restore my backup but hoping to fix this issue.

After not finding any solution, I did a complete disk/system restore. AOMEI backupper program works great, any way after the complete restore the network is still slow to boot up. This never happened before. I even did a router reboot just in case. Any ideas on what to check next?

Are you booting from the network? I don't understand what exactly the issue is otherwise, the network should have nothing to do with your boot time. You shouldn't even be connected to a network before Windows loads.

I am doing a regular boot up. The only reason I say it's a network issue is after windows boots up the network attempts access forever holding up other processes. It used to boot immediately when windows loaded. Appears to have started when I installed malwarebytes premium. I just uninstalled premium and reinstalled the free version and seems to have fixed the network issue. Wonder if premium was trying to do something upon windows loading. No clue

I just made a post about this same issue. Ive seen it before in the past but in my case there is no antivirus and its a fresh load. Your not alone tho in seeing this issue. It kinda acts like a hard drive hitting bad sectors and after retrying for a little bit it just pops up and goes. But I know its not, and i also know its not in your case with your SSD. Its a odd windows thing.

It only started when I uninstalled Acronis True Image and Eset Nod 32. I already had the AOMEI backup (worked great by the way). I installed Bitdefender and Malwarebytes premium. After several hours of uninstalling reinstalling etc. I did a complete restore. I reinstalled BitDefender and malwarebytes premium one at a time and tested. I ended up uninstalling the premium version and reinstalled malwarebytes free. Everything seems back to normal now. Not positive by maybe the premium version was trying to do something that delayed the network from loading up. Everything is good right now.

Glad you have it working.

Most AVs will try to download the latest signature upon start-up/network connection to protect from 0-day viruses. Should've stuck with Eset
