Setup for dual network ports.

So yeah here on the evening of Saturday (2 years since I discovered that I couldn't use my onboard network port) I went into device manager and saw that the system had picked up an unknown device, I was so confused when it pointed to the driver that I had tried to install for about a year but the setup always returned, sorry we cannot find any Intel(R) Network Adapters on this system. And now it suddenly just pops up like "surprise mother****er" and I've got no idea what triggered it.

Now my question is can I somehow set it up so that one port is for incoming connections and the other port is for outgoing?

Oh and my modem is an Cisco EPC3825.

Uh, I am still like "am I dreaming?".
