I can't figure out No Network Access

Every single day at some point I lose my connection and the only way to fix it is to restart. Trying to diagnose the problem just gives me an endless search. Device Manager freezes if I try to enable the adapter.

I have Windows 7 64 bit (4 years old), Netgear N300 USB adapter (4 weeks old), and we just switched from Cablevision to Verizon so we got a new modem/router.

Tried it on another USB port? A USB2 port if connected to USB 3 at the moment and vice versa. Check power saving feature of adapter in Device Management and disable it.

Thanks, I never knew about the power saving thing. I just disabled it, I'll let you know if that works. I had tried it on my other ports and was still having this problem.

Okay, I'm reviving this thread because it's happening again. The problem never really stopped, it just didn't happen as frequently. Now it's back to at least once a day. I turn on the computer and have to restart after 10 minutes. I can't understand what the problem is.

Have you tried your old adapter with new router and attach your old router to new one and connect to the old wireless?

The old adapter broke. The biggest problem I have with this is there's no quick fix, I always have to restart. When I diagnose the problem it tells me to reset the adapter. When I try to enable it in device manager, it always just hangs there. Instead of solutions, what are the most likely causes for this to happen?
