The fe80::2273:55ff:feaa:1d51%11 should not be there.
Only 192.168.0.1 should be there.

You would not be the first one to need directions and I do my best if so. However, I would expect you to say that you didn't understand some suggestion instead of not responding at all. Sorry, but there have been a bunch of things thrown out for consideration and I am trying to compartmentalize all of this stuff based on what I'm experiencing with my comfort level thrown in. Like I said, I'm not a computer wiz, but don't want to dump everything and start from scratch either - I hate going through that!! I don't think it helps to be adding all kinds of Windows updates either. It tends to muddy the waters since it was around a big batch of upgrades when this stuff started. So far, today, it is behaving itself.
What about the fact that I have a hard time getting Task Manager to come up when I'm having problems? I'm in the middle of doing something on the Internet and am not sure what is holding things up, so, I hit Task Manager to see what might be running and causing it and that won't cooperate either. There are times when I am already connected and it's like I lose my connection. There seem to be many different scenarios where this thing seems to go off in never never land. Nothing I try seems to make a difference. It just comes back or connects when it's good and ready. One thing I absolutely hate is when something decides to do an update or something else in the background without letting you know! You talk about McAfee constantly doing updates; I think they are a prime offender of this.

You can do what I do, start task manager and let it run on the side. So you can just switch to it, instead of trying to start it when System is already congested. Hopefully, you can get an idea what is hogging the system.

When it does come up, it doesn't show me anything unusual. It tells me the browser is running, but it's just sitting there spinning.

You have to switch to the processes tab and click the "Show processes from all users", then sort by RAM or CPU, whichever you are suspecting.

You can also switch to the Performance tab and click Resource Monitor, it provides some more info.

If you have these running prior to the issue, you will most likely catch the culprit.

If I am short on RAM, would that keep me from connecting to the Internet? It might bring things to a halt if I'm doing something and it gets bogged down, but why show itself in the way that I'm seeing? If I look at the processes running, I have no idea what's in the list that should or shouldn't be there. The same goes for the start-up list. Just about anything you download wants to run at start-up. How do I know what should and what shouldn't?
