How to change public ip?

Hey. I was wondering how do I change my public ip? I already tried unplugging the power cable of both my router and modem for the night without success. I also tried to clone my MAC's address in my router settings but it kind of crashed my internet for about 1 hour(had to reset the router a few times).

Required information:

- Wired connection

- Isp is Vidéotron

- Broadband is either DSL or Fiber Optic

- Modem is Arris Model TM722G and router is linksys EA6500

- Antivirus is Avast Free

- Ipconfig is in attachment if needed.

I couldn't manage to change it by myself so I'm looking for help now

Thanks a lot in advance!

You ae set up using DHCP so your IP is set automatically. You could try a proxy to mask your IP

I can use a proxy or a VPN, but the reason I don't is because the website detects it sometime and blocks it. It's rather annoying. That's why I want to change my public ip.

Why do you need to change your public IP address?
Other than changing ISP's or using a proxy or VPN there is no certain way to do this. The bottom line is that your public IP isn't really yours to change. It belongs to your ISP and is leased to you for a period of time. Before the lease expires your computer will attempt to renew it and that will normally succeed. If you power off the modem or have it disconnected for longer than the lease period your ISP MAY give you a different IP, or it may not. What IP you get is entirely up to your ISP. After all, the IP address belongs to them, not you.

All I can suggest is that you contact your ISP. But don't be surprised if they say no.

I am trying to access a website on which I got banned because I had made an account. I had forgotten I had made one years and years ago and therefore I got banned for having multiple accounts.

I believe they are checking the public ips to ban(obviously other things too). Mostly, when it is said that website ban your ip, is it the external or internal ip?

Thanks.

I'm sorry but you will get no help here to try to bypass a forum ban.
