    Unable to connect to internet but ping works. Corrupted LAN settings ?


    Hi,

    so I guess I unintentionally installed some rubbish coz I can't access net (any browser, Skype, updates, ANYTHING).

    The wierd thing is that I can actually ping websites including DNS resolution (ping google.com results in finding IP 216.58.209.206 and all packets come back!).

    I noticed that after Windows boots the Network And Sharing Center is unaccessible for like 60 seconds - is this normal behavior ? Also, my Windows time sets itself 2 hours BEFORE the actual time (shows 2PM when it is 4PM) but I guess that is just caused by missing connectivity.

    I did tried gazilion of antiviruses/spyware removal tools and so far nothing helps. I REALLY want to avoid complete reinstall

    Try a clean startup - Troubleshoot Application Conflicts by Performing a Clean Startup

    Try run cmd as admin:
