Linksys WUSB100 Connection Problems with Win7 x32

I just installed Windows 7 on a second hard drive and have been unable to connect to my home network. The network is visible on the machine, however, my login is rejected every single time I try to add it to the network. It is the correct login, so I have to assume this is a driver problem. My router is a WRT54G2, V1. The adapter connected to the desktop is a WUSB100. I spent three fruitless hours with Linksys tech support yesterday, trying to get a resolution to this. Can anyone help?
